NEW YORK - It's the most popular bank machine in the city, and you'll likely have to wait a while if you need to use it.
A lone KeyBank ATM on East 22nd Street in Flatiron has formed a steady line for those who are collecting unemployment benefits but haven't set up direct deposit.
It's the only ATM where users can make a "large" withdrawal from the benefits account without a fee.
Some have reported waiting over two hours.
"What can we do? This machine, it's got a limit by the KeyBank. If you use another machine, you have like, small limit. Maybe $200 or something," said one ATM user.
A State Labor Department spokesperson says any "Allpoint" ATM can process unemployment account withdrawls without a fee.
But since many have a limit you may have to conduct several transactions to withdrawl the full amount.
