You may recognize Andy Veli, who has cerebral palsy, from spending long days, in all weather conditions, selling candy and snacks out of his candy cart on Staten Island streets. Now that those streets are empty, he's out of business. One loyal customer has started a go fund me campaign to support Veli during these trying times. In less than a week more than 6,000 dollars was raised.

"I told Andy he's very loved by many, many people. We want life to get back to normal and see him back on the street again selling his candy. But the generosity is absolutely amazing, people are just amazing and I can't say enough about that," said Fundraiser Organizer Steve Schultz.

Veli says this money will help pay the bills and allow him to reopen as soon as it's safe to. To donate visit www.gofundme.com/support-andys-candy-cart-during-covid19
