NEW YORK - One man is dead and a woman injured after a shooting in Manhattan early Monday morning.

Police initially responded to calls of an assault just before 5 a.m. at the Floridita Restaurant on 10th Avenue and West 207th Street in Inwood. 

When police arrived they found a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso and a 58-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg. 

Both were taken to local hospitals where the man was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests.
