Charlie DeLeo is a Vietnam veteran with more than a half-century dedicated to serving this country. He calls himself the "Keeper of the Flame," as he once took care of the iron skeleton that holds the Statue of Liberty together.

While he can no longer climb to the top of Lady Liberty's torch, DeLeo talks about continuing his legacy as a volunteer on Ellis and Liberty Islands.
