Village Paradegoers Scare Away the Rain
Although for most of the week weather forecasts called for downpours during the beloved festival, paradegoers were treated to an unseasonably warm night with a high of 70 degrees.
Naturally, Pat Kiernan and Jamie Stelter were thrilled.
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice
Speaking of the the NY1 team, they transformed into characters from "Beetlejuice," the hit Broadway adaption of the 1988 film. It portrays a deceased couple who tries to scare away the new residents of their former home, enlisting the help of a ghost named Beetlejuice.
Pat took on the title role, and was joined by Jamie, who returned from maternity leave to embody Lydia Deetz, the goth girl who moves into the house.
Roger Clark morhped into the deceased football player, with Ruschell Boone suiting up as Juno, the afterlife case worker. And not to be outdone, Frank DiLella of NY1's On Stage rounded out the group as one of the mourners.
"Will You Parade with Me?"
Roger said he's going to be have nightmares after this "Shining" sighting, and we really can't blame him.
