NEW YORK - One man is dead and another hurt after gunfire erupted outside a public housing complex in Manhattan Monday afternoon.
Investigators with the New York City Police Department say a 24-year-old man was shot in the head, and a 21-year-old man was wounded in the leg at the Taft Houses in East Harlem.
The older man died on the scene, while the second victim is expected to survive his injuries.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
