NORTH CAROLINA -- The body of a missing person on Lake Norman was pulled from the water on Sunday. The victim reportedly went missing from a boat on Saturday.
Wildlife officers say the 22-year-old man jumped off the bow of a boat to swim and never came back up.
The man was reportedly wearing a life jacket but when he hit the water, he slipped out.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
This rule would be similar to what has been in effect for years, until recently, where probationary deputies are accompanied and supervised.
