With the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attacks just days a way, a widow of a man who died in the towers is pleading for the return of her wedding ring.
Monica Iken of Manhattan, says the ring was last seen in mid-August in West Hampton in a co-worker's rental home. She is offering a $500 reward for its return.
It holds significant importance.
"We can buy a new ring. This one is meanigful and can not be recreated," said Iken.
The ring was blessed by the Pope during a remembrance ceremony during his visit in 2015.
The ring holds also gems from her wedding band Michael Iken, who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.
He was working on the 84th floor of 2 World trade center when the plane struck. Iken is among the some 1,100 victims who remain unidentified. Sunday, would have been his 55th birthday.
