A decorated member of the U.S. Air National Guard and two children were found dead inside a home on Staten Island Saturday, sources said.

Investigators say the kids' father is in custody.

Sources say 37-year-old Alla Ausheva was found face down on a bed alongside her 2- and 3-year-old children, inside their home on Palisade Street in Arrochar around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Ausheva was serving as a logistics planner for the National Guard at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn.

She was found with severe trauma to her head.

Originally from Russia, Ausheva made news in 2012 when she was sworn in as an American citizen by Barack Obama.

Sources say the 36-year-old man who was picked up by police is also an active service member.

The medical examiner will determine a cause of death, but sources believe Ausheva and her kids drowned.

Loved ones are gathered Sunday afternoon for a private memorial at the Fort Hamilton Chapel.
