QUEENS, N.Y. - Chanel Lewis will be sentenced on Tuesday after a judge denied the motion to throw out his guilty verdict.
Jurors testified Monday, after attorneys for Lewis accused them of misconduct.
One juror says another told him he had "his mind made up before the defense plead their case."
Lewis was convicted of murder earlier this month in the death of 30-year-old Karina Vetrano.
She was killed while on a run near her Howard Beach home in August 2016.
Lewis' first trial ended in a hung jury in November.
Prosecutors say Lewis confessed to the killing, but his defense team argues it was coerced.
