Volunteers celebrate Black History month by giving back to those in need.
Habitat for Humanity New York City hosted their 20th Annual Martin Luther King Building on the Dream Day of Service in the Bronx.
About 50 volunteers helped re-paint and revitalize a affordable co-op building on Anderson Avenue, and they will continue revamping the space every Wednesday through Sunday for the next few weeks.
Participants say helping others is the best way to honor Dr. King's life and legacy.
The event was rescheduled from its original date on MLK Day due to freezing temperatures.
