A young woman was shot and killed on the streets of Brooklyn Friday night.

Authorities say the victim is a 21-year-old woman. 

Police say they found her unconscious on Van Siclen Avenue in East New York just before 7 p.m.

Sources tell NY1 she was walking with her boyfriend when the individual approached them and shot her.

She was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.

Police say she died from a gunshot wound to her neck.

So far, no arrests have been made.
