The NYPD is looking for a man who they say was caught on video starting a gasoline fire at the pumps in front of a 7-Eleven on Staten Island.
Police say the man seen in the video above filled a portable gas can with gasoline around 1:50 a.m. Monday at the gas station on Richmond Avenue.
According to police, he then sprayed gas on the ground and used a lit piece of paper to ignite a fire, then ran away in an unknown direction.
He was last seen wearing a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, dark shorts and dark slippers.
Police say he arrived in a blue minivan.
The station's fire suppression system extinguished the fire.
A 21-year-old man who was nearby was taken to the hospital with internal injuries.
