GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police are investigating a reported shooting near their headquarters and Guilford County Courthouse Monday afternoon.

• Police closed Federal Place and the parking lot on Washington Street across from the courthouse
• Officials said one victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Police closed Federal Place and the parking lot on Washington Street across from the courthouse to investigate.

Greensboro Police and Guilford County deputies responded to a shots fired call around noon.

Officials said one victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe the suspect drove off from the scene.
