Saturday's largest "March for Our Lives" rally took place in the nation's capital.

Students and activists descended upon Pennsylvania Avenue and the National Mall.

Before finishing her speech, shooting survivor Emma Gonzalez stood silent on stage to honor the victims of the deadly shooting.

"Since the time that I came out here, it has been six minutes and 20 seconds. The shooter has ceased shooting and will soon abandon his rifle, blend in with the students as they escape and walk free for an hour before arrest," Gonzalez said.

From Boston to Los Angeles and from France to Japan, hundreds of thousands of gun control advocates participated in "March For Our Lives" rallies to stand in solidarity with the march in Washginton.
