Police say they are investigating a shooting in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon that appears to be a domestic incident turned double murder.

Police said they were called about a person shot on the 11th floor of a building on East 174th St. around 2:20 p.m.

Officials said they recovered a gun at the scene and found three people shot.

Police say Susan Trivano, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene, her daughter, 29-year-old Suchari Guzman, was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and a 52-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition with a gunshot wound to his head.

Sources identified the man as Jorge Vega. The NYPD said the preliminary information is that the man shot the women and then himself, and that the shooting was domestic in nature.

A one-year-old girl was also found at the location, but police said she did not have any injuries and was brought to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

The shooting is under investigation.

The mother and grandmother of the victims told NY1 that Trivano and Vega were together off-and-on for the last two years. Sources say they broke up Tuesday.

According to a friend, Vega and Trivino were MTA bus drivers at the same depot until Vega resigned last week.

Police sources originally told NY1 that three people were killed in the incident, but officials later clarified that two people are dead and one person is in critical condition. Sources also originally told NY1 that Vega's first name was George.
