At least six people were injured in what police are calling a road rage incident in Lower Manhattan Thursday.
It happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Liberty.
Police say two vehicles — a Ford Explorer and Lincoln Town car — were on Liberty Street when they collided.
The force of the crash sent the Explorer into a bicyclist.
The Lincoln continued on, striking a red Mercedes and then several pedestrians.
"Right now we are investigating this as a road rage incident," said NYPD Deputy Inspector Mark Iocco. "There are a total of six injuries. One cyclist, two vehicle drivers and three pedestrians. None of the injuries are life-threatening and all were removed to area hospitals for treatment."
The driver of the Lincoln was taken into custody and questioned.
Detectives are working to sort out whether charges are warranted.
