BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Taoist Tai Chi Society continued their senior sessions this weekend.

Men and women met with instructors on Kenmore Avenue Saturday for a lesson in finding inner strength and peace.

The art of Tai Chi focuses on deep breaths and slow and controlled movements to naturally heal and strengthen the body.

"This is not a two-month class that you take and now you know Tai Chi. This is, 'Well I know I'll be doing this the rest of my life,'" said Jeffrey Mcchesney, Tai Chi Instructor. "I think I don't know when I realized that, but after a couple of years I just felt so much better doing it."

Classes are free and open to the public and are held throughout the week.
