It is officially the end of the road for the old Tappan Zee Bridge.

Westchester-bound traffic took one last spin on the 62-year-old bridge on Friday night. Cars heading that way are now crossing the Hudson River on the new span known as the Governor Mario Cuomo Bridge.

Drivers will temporarily share the stretch with eastbound traffic, which started crossing the new bridge in August.

In the meantime, workers will bring down the old Tappan Zee Bridge to put the finishing touches on the second span of the Mario Cuomo Bridge, which is set to open next year.
