The Bronx Zoo this week is welcoming a new addition who is just four weeks old.
The baby Gelada Monkey is now within public view at the zoo.
The species is often mistaken for a type of baboon because of its distinctive red markings.
Geladas feed primarily on grass, which is unusual for monkeys.
The zoo is the only one in the country that breeds the species, and one of only two in the U.S. which has them on display.
