ROSAMOND, Calif. — Life for a Navy veteran in Rosamond gets a little easier thanks to the help of his fellow veterans.
Joseph Sahler, the disabled veteran, had a new ramp installed at his home. Sahler has battled several kinds of cancer and is an amputee.
He wasn't able to get out of his home by himself, so they decided to install a ramp for him.
It was all made possible by Vets for Veterans, Grace Chapel, Habitat for Humanity, Home Depot and homes for families — all of whom made the new ramp possible.
Sahler wasn't able to get out of his home, but we are told he is more than grateful for the new ramp.
