ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Three officers from the Gates Police Department will attend the Tuesday morning funeral of slain NYPD Officer Miosotis Familia.
Familia was shot in the head last week when a gunman fired through the window of her mobile command unit. She was a 12-year veteran of the force and a mother of three.
