NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Three suspects were charged Thursday with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 63-year-old Raul Diaz-Martinez. Police said Martinez was found with one gunshot wound to the head in a basement apartment at a home on Chambers Street.
Family members for all three men -- 16-year-old Tyress Canigan, 21-year-old Dejiore Fox and 25-year-old Omarrio Morrison -- were visibly upset in the courtroom. All three men pleaded not guilty. The judge ordered the men back to Orange County jail without bail.
The men are scheduled to be back in court on June 27.
