CAMBRIDGESHIRE, England — A tiger has killed a zookeeper at the Hamerton Zoo in Cambridgeshire, England.
Local police say the tiger entered an enclosure with zookeeper Rosa King on Monday. The woman died at the scene.
In a Facebook post the zoo said it appeared to have been "a freak accident."
Hamerton Zoo officials say no animals escaped their enclosures during the incident and there is no threat to the public.
Officials are currently investigating.
