Lots of people are gathering over this holiday weekend and family members of the victim say that's exactly what 30-year-old Ivelisse Alvarado was doing here in Coney Island Friday night, when police say she was killed by her husband.

Here's a look at 30-year-old Gabino Genao — who right now is still at large — He's 6-feet tall, weighs 200 pounds and according to police has more than a dozen arrests for  crimes including robbery and assault.

This mug shot was taken following a crime just 6 months ago.

Police say he shot and killed his wife, 30-year-old Ivelisse Alvarado, in the head. Family members say Alvarado was a devoted mother of two, who managed to work while also going to school full time.

According to family, it was some of the victim's relatives who found her, after she was shot at her uncle's home during a family gathering for the holiday.

Authorities say that the two may have been in a domestic dispute  outside 3708 West 36th Street, when she was shot in the head around 11:15 p.m.

Family members say they need the public's help to find Genao and made a plea for help.
