A Bloomfield-based organization pumps thousands of dollars into charitable efforts across the borough.
The Lois and Richard Nicotra Foundation donated more than $45,000 Wednesday to dozens of nonprofits.
It's all part of their ongoing "Do Good" initiative which aims to support community groups that work to serve Staten Islanders in need.
The Nicotras also awarded college scholarships to children of several stand-out employees.
It's the highlight of our year. We love trying to make Staten Island better we love trying to make the lives of our employees better and our customers better," said Richard Nicotra.

$600,000 to nonprofits in just the last 5 years.
