Mayor Bill de Blasio wants to help you watch what you eat.
Starting Monday, thousands of the city's restaurants will have to post calorie counts and full nutrition information on their standard menu items.
They will also need to post a statement reminding customers about the FDA's recommended 2,000 calories a day.
The rule applies to places that have 15 or more locations nationwide, and will affect about 4,500 restaurants and retailers across the five boroughs.
Any rule-breaking restaurants would be subject to a fine of up to $600.
