NEW YORK - If you're looking to put some extra pep in your step, lace up your sneakers and hustle over to the New York Road Runners' new running center.

The facility, right off Columbus Circle on 57th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues in Hell's Kitchen serves as a meeting hub for runners of all levels and ages.

It offers group workout classes, course strategy, and running gear for weekly races.

"It's kind of all things running if you look at it. We say runners like to do a few things. They like to run and talk about their runs so the run center becomes an opportunity and place for people to come together, talk about their running, go out on a run," said NYRR President and CEO Michael Capiraso.

Road runners is also helping city kids in need, by donating a pair of sneakers for every pair that is bought at the center.
