A bull that fled from a slaughterhouse and roamed through the streets of Jamaica Tuesday has died.
The black bull was first spotted around 10 a.m. roaming on Liberty Avenue and 150th Street in Jamaica.
The NYPD says the bull originally fled from a slaughterhouse located on Beaver Road.
The animal was eventually cornered by officers in the yard of a home on 158th Street.
Police say it was being transported to the ASPCA in nearby Brooklyn.
Police say it died around 1:50 p.m. and was taken to a crematory.
