UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica's 16th Legislative District has a new representative.
Republican Mary Pratt was sworn-in as the new legislator, Wednesday.
She's taking over for former legislator, Brian Miller, who was elected to the 101st Assembly seat.
Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente appointed Pratt to the position.
She was sworn-in by her brother, former Oneida County Court Judge Barry Donalty.
