Police say a group of people behind a recent string of armed robberies in Queens have struck again.
The latest incident happened around noon on Christmas Day inside a Metro PCS store on Queens Boulevard near 64th Road in Rego Park.
Police say two men with handguns forced three employees, a customer and a woman who posed as a customer to the back of the store.
That's when the woman began stealing cell phones while one of the robbers took money out of the register.
A fourth robber then went into the store and took phones off the displays.
Police say two employees tackled him and tried to stop him from running, but he was able to escape.
They believe the group is responsible for at least four robberies in the borough since November 20.
