The countdown to New Year's Eve is underway in Times Square.
The 7-foot tall numbers 1 and 7 that will help bring in the new year were unveiled Thursday.
They were rolled in on a flatbed truck to the corner of 46th Street and Broadway.
Anyone can take their picture up close with the giant numbers until 1 p.m. Friday before it's moved to the top of One Times Square in time for the big celebration on New Year's Eve.
Altogether, the four numerals that make up 2017 use a total of 496 light bulbs.
