Two people are injured after a fire in a Manhattan apartment building.
Fire officials say flames broke out on 131st Street near Madison Avenue in East Harlem just before 3 p.m.Tuesday.
Two people were taken to the hospital for burn injuries.
One witness told us he saw the flames and rushed to help residents.
"I seen what apartment it was and I just ran upstairs and I had nothing else to do, I just did the first thing that came in my mind," he said. "I don't know where it started, where it came from, all I know is it ended with the couch coming out the window."
It's not yet clear what caused the fire.
