Family and friends of 25-year old Alastasia Bryan couldn't hold it together as they exited First AME Zion Church in Brooklyn for her wake Monday night.
Bryant's wake was held at the Bedford-Stuyvesant church.
Her funeral will be at the same location Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Bryan was shot while sitting in her car around 9:30 p.m. December 4.
Surveillance video shows a man walking up to the driver's side window and firing five shots.
Police believe two people had been staking out Bryan, and fled the shooting in a gold- or tan-colored Hyundai Elantra.
Bryan had worked on Rikers Island for about a month, but police say they do not believe the shooting was related to her job.
As NY1 first reported last week, the NYPD has identified a person of interest in the case.
Sources tell us they're looking for Bryan's ex-boyfriend.
They say he has dozens of prior arrests, including some for domestic violence. The two apparently got into an argument over a BMW prior to her death.
