A police officer in plainclothes was injured after being shot by a pellet gun in Queens Wednesday, the NYPD said.
The incident happened around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday near Jamaica Avenue and 168th Street in Jamaica.
According to police, two officers was traveling in an unmarked car with the window down when one of them was hit in the forehead.
The officer was transported to Jamaica Hospital to have the pellet removed.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
