More than 200 underpaid workers at Papa John's franchises in the city are finally getting their share.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and the Department of Labor say a $500,000 settlement was reached with a Papa John's franchisee.
The owners of three stores in upper Manhattan and the Bronx were accused of not paying workers minimum wage and overtime.
Restitution and damages will be distributed to the workers.
Over the past two years, Schneiderman's office found violations by eight separate Papa John's franchisees, operating more than 30 restaurants.
