Wednesday marks 32 years since moviegoers first heard the iconic question: "Who ya gonna call?"
"Ghostbusters" was released on this date in 1984.
Members of the New York City Ghostbusters chapter are taking to the streets to celebrate the anniversary of the iconic film's release.
The group has been around for three years and celebrates anything that has to do with the movie.
With an all-female reboot of Ghostbusters hitting theaters this summer, members we spoke with say they're oozing with excitement.
"Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, directed by Paul Feig who did 'Freaks and Geeks', 'Outerspace', 'Bridesmaids' it looks great," said Chris Beaumont, an NYC Ghostbusters Chapter member.
"I am super excited because I love the funny ladies that they are and also I found out that Kristen Wiig's character name is Erin as well, so now I actually have a 'Ghostbusters' character for myself," added NYC Ghostbusters Chapter member Erin Church.
The new "Ghostbusters" arrives in theaters on July 15.
