One artist is taking her anti-gun violence message to new heights by flying her art in the skies over New York Saturday.
A drawing of a bloodstained t-shirt, in the shape of a gun is flying above Orlando, Chicago, and New York.
The original drawing was enlarged to 5,000 square feet.
Three planes are dragging the flag simultaneously in each city for ten straight hours, until 7 p.m. tonight.
Australian artist CJ Hendry says her hope is to help encourage lawmakers to create stricter gun laws.
"The objective for me is to have created a piece that not only I, but other people can view, and they can view it, and it can inspire them to create the possibility for change," Hendry said. "People are losing lives, and it brings it back to humanity."
Hendry says she's covering the cost of the project by paying for it herself.
