The victims of Sunday's shooting in Orlando were honored at an annual comedy event in Manhattan.
Hundreds attended the comedy benefit "Levity and Justice For All" in Midtown.
Some famous comedians came out to show solidarity, including Rosie O'Donnell and Judy Gold.
Organizers say it was important to provide much-needed laughter after the tragedy in Florida.
"This was scheduled way before the attacks in Orlando, but you know, it's just great to be here and have everybody out for the one reason, you know, for this community," said one person in attendance.
"This hit us really deep, this Orlando tragedy," Gold said. "We are about love, not hate."
The show was put on by LPAC, which calls itself the nation's only lesbian Super PAC.
