CICERO, N.Y. -- Just days after a Madison County man was sentenced for killing a woman in Oneida last August, her family came together to keep her memory alive.
Tiffany Meeks' father, Dave Meeks brought the car the pair bought together about a year and a half ago to a drag strip in Cicero Sunday.
He wasn't able to get it finished last year, so he decided to take it out with Tiffany's two children and drive it in her honor.
"It means a lot to us and to my grand kids because they love to come every Sunday and play and enjoy their mother's car," Dave said.
Meeks hopes to run some larger events with the car in the future.
Kevin Farley was sentenced to 24 years to life in prison on a second degree murder charge.
The judge plans to speak with the parole board, asking them to deny any future release.
