A ring owned by the late Shirley Temple is going up for auction next month at Sotheby's.
The 9.5 carat blue diamond ring could go for as much as $35 million.
Temple's father bought the cushion-cut stone for her around her 12th birthday in 1940.
Back then, it cost about $7,200.
Temple wore the ring throughout her life, from child stardom to her career as an American diplomat.
She died two years ago at the age of 85.
The ring goes on sale April 19.
