Police in Brooklyn say they made a gun bust after a fire.
Eric Brown, 50, was arrested after authorities say they seized 14 rifles, four shotguns and two handguns at his Crown Heights apartment.
FDNY officials say they were responding to a four-alarm fire at his building near the corner of Buffalo and Atlantic Avenues when they saw the guns in plain sight.
Devon Brown, a member of Eric Brown's family, spoke with NY1 about the arrest.
"I mean, it's crazy, especially since because I was just over here and I just moved out of here and then shortly after, all this goes down," Devon Brown said.
Eric Brown faces several charges, including criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
