TWC NEWS VIDEO: In No Apologies: Merritt Rahn Breaks His Silence, the former Greece police chief who spent time behind bars and found himself surrounded by multiple controversies, grants an exclusive interview with Time Warner Cable News' Casey Bortnick. In April of 2009, Greece Police Chief Merritt Rahn left the Greece Police Department after a Saturday morning meeting. It was the last time he did so as chief. Rahn was suspended, convicted and sent to prison for what prosecutors called his role in a cover up. A year later, Rahn was sentenced to up to five years in prison after being convicted for falsifying a background check for former officer Gary Pignato and trying to cover up a DWI hit and run crash involving former Greece Sergeant Nick Joseph. Rahn served 28 months of his sentence.
