The city is making it easier to find out what's happening on your block with new neighborhood-specific websites.
Neighborhoods.nyc launches today.
It's designed to provide real-time information on a neighborhood-by-neighborhood basis.
The sites include maps with information ranging from school closures, 311 requests, and transit alerts to restaurant grades and public events.
The sites are also available in 12 languages other than English.
The city says there will soon be specific sites for about 400 neighborhoods, and that the program is mobile-friendly as well.
