City employees who drive government cars are now required to take a six hour driving safety course as part of the mayor's "Vision Zero" program.

As part of the training, the Department of Citywide Administrative Service will show workers a 15 minute video featuring several families whose loved ones were killed by reckless drivers.

Those who need to take the course include MTA bus drivers, NYPD and other city employees.

The city operates the largest municipal fleet in the country, with 28,000 vehicles.
