If you can't get to the Queens Library, the library will come to you . The library has a new mobile unit that can hold up to 1,000 books.

The library-on-wheels is one of two buses Queens Library representatives say will be used for community outreach and learning workshops throughout the borough. This new addition to Queens Library was officially launched Tuesday at the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

"The Queens Library is your library ,we're here for you. And we want to make sure that you can get the services no matter where you live or work, " said Interim Queens Library President and CEO Bridget Quinn-Carey.

Queens City Council members allocated money for the mobile library.

The two buses cost more than $450,000.
