NEW YORK -- Former Secretary of State and New York Senator Hilary Clinton officially kicked off her 2016 presidential bid with a rally in New York City Saturday.

Clinton is widely regarded as one of the front-runners for the White House.

At the rally, Clinton called for a "new era of shared prosperity."

She says she's an advocate for those left behind during the recession.

Clinton said her candidacy is about giving the voter what they deserve.

"You have to wonder, when does my hard work pay off?  When does my family get ahead? When?  I say now!" Clinton said.

Other Democratic Candidates include Vermont Governer Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Governer Martin O'Malley.
