New York is again cracking down on people who don't buckle up.
It's taking part in a nationwide seat belt enforcement program that started Monday.
Governor Andrew Cuomo's office says state, county, and local police will be aggressively ticketing unbelted drivers and passengers till the end of the month.
Under state law, drivers and front seat passengers must wear seat belts.
All passengers under 16 must wear a seat belt, or use a child safety restraint.
