A Queens man is under arrest in connection with a deadly hit and run accident Sunday night.
Police say the victim was crossing Woodside Avenue near 73rd Street in Elmhurst around 8:30 p.m. when she was hit and killed by a box truck.
The driver fled.
Valentine Gonzalez, 27, was taken into custody just a few blocks away.
He is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident and driving without a license.
