There are more than 38,000 landmarks in New York City.

People know the classic landmarks, such as the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and Central Park. But what about the other thousands?

Photographer and writer Tommy Silk seeks to answer that question in his new book, “Hidden Landmarks of New York,” which highlights what he calls the city’s “most overlooked buildings.”

He joined “News All Day” on Thursday to discuss more.
